Resent Things

I finished a few chapters for Exorcist's requiem, I keep doubting myself on them (something I struggle with) though it is not ready to be considered by a publisher yet. The graphic novel version has seen many drafts and scrapings so I will starting fresh with it once again.

I made an original character steam punk costume for Halloween although there are no events in my area this year so I only get to wear it when I want. I did however wear it a local 'comic con' today; it was fun and I saw many others in costume mostly superheroes as it was comic con. Four or five people called me 'steam punk' (I was also called 'the made hatter' by one person) and two different people wanted my picture taken. It was neat.
I do not like super heroes all that much and I especially do not really like super hero comics; I like alternative stories more on the subject of fantasy or deep story lines. I picked up a -so far- three issue independent comic, self published. I did not really know what it was about, just something made me want to purchase it so I did, I will it to be a good one, it seems so.

Seeing a few artists there made me happy and gave me some self-motivation to finish some projects or at the least prepare some prints. I will be looking through my files and perhaps pick out a few things that may be worth printing and possibly selling.

I will myself to draw and write or at least do something creative to get this headache to fade, and I believe that I will do so soon.
